Refund & Custom Product Policy
Miami Custom Depot Inc.
Last Updated: August 10, 2026
At Miami Custom Depot Inc. (“Miami Custom Depot,” “Custom Depot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), most products are printed, embroidered, personalized, or otherwise produced specifically for each customer. Because customized merchandise generally cannot be restocked or resold, our return and refund policy differs from that of a traditional retail store.
Please review this policy carefully before placing or approving a custom order.
1. Customized Products Are Final Sale
Unless there is a verified defect or production error by Miami Custom Depot, customized and personalized merchandise is considered final sale.
This includes products featuring:
-
Custom artwork
-
Business logos
-
Names or numbers
-
Photographs
-
Personalized text
-
Birthday themes
-
School or organization designs
-
Custom embroidery
-
DTF printing
-
Screen print transfers
-
Sublimation
-
UV-DTF
-
Heat-transfer vinyl
-
Specialty decoration
-
Other customer-requested customization
We generally cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer changes their mind after the product has been customized.
2. Customer-Approved Proofs
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing artwork proofs before approval.
Please verify:
-
Spelling
-
Names
-
Dates
-
Numbers
-
Artwork
-
Logo
-
Design
-
General colors
-
Print location
-
Personalization
-
Layout
Once a proof is approved, Miami Custom Depot will produce the order according to the approved design.
Errors that appeared on an approved proof are generally not considered production errors.
If Miami Custom Depot produces something differently from the approved proof, contact us so we can review the issue.
3. Incorrect Size Ordered
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct garment sizes.
Customized merchandise cannot generally be returned or exchanged because:
-
The customer ordered the wrong size
-
The garment fits differently than expected
-
The customer later needs another size
-
A recipient's size changed
-
The customer did not review the available size chart
We strongly recommend reviewing the product-specific size chart before ordering.
If you need a replacement in another size, contact us. We may be able to produce another item at an additional charge.
4. Garment Size Variations
Garment measurements are generally based on information supplied by the manufacturer.
Actual measurements may vary slightly because of normal manufacturing tolerances, fabric characteristics, washing, garment construction, or production lot differences.
Minor measurement variations within normal manufacturer tolerances are not considered defects.
5. Product and Color Variations
Colors displayed on phones, tablets, computer monitors, photographs, mockups, and digital proofs may appear differently from the actual product.
Garment and print colors may also vary because of:
-
Screen settings
-
Lighting
-
Fabric composition
-
Garment color
-
Printing method
-
Ink or transfer material
-
Thread
-
Manufacturing batches
-
Product availability
Slight variations in color are not automatically considered defects.
If exact color matching is critical, please discuss your requirements with Miami Custom Depot before approving the order.
6. Print and Embroidery Placement
Custom decoration involves manual and mechanical production processes.
Minor variations may occur in:
-
Print placement
-
Embroidery placement
-
Alignment
-
Design dimensions
-
Color
-
Texture
-
Stitching
-
Transfer appearance
Reasonable production variations are normal and are not considered defects.
7. Miami Custom Depot Production Errors
If Miami Custom Depot makes a verified production error, we will work to correct the affected merchandise.
Examples may include:
-
Wrong design printed
-
Wrong personalization produced when it differs from the approved proof
-
Incorrect print location
-
Incorrect garment supplied by us
-
Missing decoration
-
Material printing defect
-
Embroidery error attributable to our production
-
Other significant differences from the approved order
Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate remedy may include:
Reprint, replacement, correction, or store credit.
When correction or replacement is reasonably possible, Miami Custom Depot may elect to correct or replace the affected product rather than issue a monetary refund.
8. Reporting an Order Problem
Please inspect your order promptly after pickup or delivery.
If you believe there is a production error or defect, contact Miami Custom Depot as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
-
Customer name
-
Order or invoice number
-
Description of the problem
-
Clear photographs showing the issue
-
Quantity affected
Do not discard, alter, wash, wear, or otherwise dispose of affected merchandise before we have had an opportunity to review the issue.
We may request that the merchandise be returned or brought to our location for inspection.
9. Defective Blank Garments or Products
Occasionally, a manufacturer-supplied product may contain a defect that was not reasonably visible before customization.
If you discover a suspected manufacturing defect, contact us promptly.
We will evaluate the item and determine whether a replacement, correction, store credit, or other appropriate remedy is available.
Normal garment characteristics or minor manufacturing variations are not considered defects.
10. Customer-Supplied Artwork Errors
Customers are responsible for the quality and accuracy of artwork they provide.
Miami Custom Depot is not responsible for problems already present in customer-supplied artwork, including:
-
Low resolution
-
Pixelation
-
Incorrect spelling
-
Incorrect dates
-
Incorrect names
-
Poor-quality photographs
-
Incorrect colors
-
Missing artwork elements
-
Improperly prepared files
When we identify an obvious artwork issue before production, we may attempt to notify the customer, but the customer remains responsible for reviewing and approving the final proof when a proof is provided.
11. Customer-Supplied Garments or Products
Miami Custom Depot may accept customer-supplied garments or products for decoration at our discretion.
Printing, embroidery, sublimation, heat application, engraving, and other customization processes involve inherent production risks.
Customers should not provide sentimental, irreplaceable, vintage, rare, or unusually valuable merchandise for customization unless the risks have been discussed beforehand.
If an accepted customer-supplied item is accidentally damaged because of a verified Miami Custom Depot production error, any remedy will be evaluated based on the circumstances and applicable law.
12. Washing and Care
Customers are responsible for following applicable care instructions for decorated merchandise.
Depending on the garment and decoration method, recommended care may include:
-
Wash inside out
-
Use cold or cool water
-
Use mild detergent
-
Avoid bleach
-
Avoid excessive heat
-
Do not iron directly over printed decoration
-
Follow the garment manufacturer's care instructions
Damage caused by improper washing, drying, ironing, bleaching, excessive heat, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a production defect.
13. Order Changes
Contact Miami Custom Depot immediately if you need to change an order.
Changes may be possible before production begins.
Once merchandise has been ordered, artwork approved, transfers produced, embroidery started, or printing begun, changes may not be possible.
Changes may result in additional charges and revised production times.
14. Order Cancellations
Because custom orders may require merchandise purchases, artwork preparation, transfers, embroidery setup, digitizing, or other production work, cancellation eligibility depends on the stage of the order.
Before Production Begins
If no products have been specially ordered and no non-refundable work has been completed, a cancellation may be possible.
Any completed design, setup, processing, digitizing, or other non-refundable charges may be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.
After Products Have Been Ordered
If merchandise has already been purchased specifically for the customer's order, cancellation may be subject to supplier restocking charges, shipping expenses, or other costs already incurred.
After Production Begins
Once printing, embroidery, personalization, transfer production, sublimation, engraving, or another customization process has begun, the customized portion of the order is generally non-refundable.
15. Deposits
Custom orders may require a deposit before merchandise is ordered or production begins.
If an order is canceled, any refund of the deposit will depend on costs already incurred for:
-
Merchandise
-
Artwork
-
Digitizing
-
Design services
-
Transfers
-
Setup
-
Shipping
-
Special-order materials
-
Production already completed
Amounts already spent or earned in connection with the order may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Rush Order Fees
Rush production fees compensate Miami Custom Depot for prioritizing and accelerating an order.
Once rush production has begun or production capacity has been reserved and used for the order, rush fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where Miami Custom Depot fails to provide the agreed rush production service for reasons within our control.
Carrier shipping delays are separate from production and do not automatically make a rush production fee refundable.
17. Shipping Problems
If merchandise arrives damaged during shipping, contact us promptly and retain:
-
The merchandise
-
Shipping box or mailer
-
Packaging materials
-
Shipping label
Please provide photographs of the package and damaged merchandise.
We may need this information to submit a claim with the shipping carrier.
Lost, delayed, or incorrectly delivered packages are also subject to our Shipping & Local Pickup Policy.
18. Store Credit
When store credit is issued, it may be applied toward eligible future purchases from Miami Custom Depot.
Store credit:
-
Has no cash value unless otherwise required by law
-
Cannot generally be exchanged for cash
-
May be subject to reasonable restrictions disclosed when issued
Any expiration or usage restrictions will comply with applicable law.
19. Blank, Non-Customized Products
If Miami Custom Depot sells a product that has not been customized, decorated, worn, washed, or altered, different return eligibility may apply.
Contact us before returning any merchandise.
No merchandise should be shipped or returned without authorization from Miami Custom Depot.
Applicable shipping, restocking, or processing charges may apply to eligible non-customized returns.
20. Unauthorized Returns
Please contact Miami Custom Depot before returning merchandise.
Packages or products returned without authorization may be refused or may experience processing delays.
Return authorization does not automatically guarantee that a refund will be approved. Merchandise must first be reviewed under this policy.
21. Refund Method
When a monetary refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method when reasonably possible.
Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
Miami Custom Depot does not control the amount of time a bank or payment provider takes to post an approved refund.
22. Our Goal When Something Goes Wrong
Custom products are made specifically for each customer, and we want the finished product to reflect the approved order.
If Miami Custom Depot makes a verified production mistake, please give us an opportunity to review and correct it.
Our preferred resolution for a verified production error is generally:
Correct it → Reprint it → Replace it → Store credit or another appropriate remedy when necessary.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
23. Changes to This Policy
Miami Custom Depot may update this Refund & Custom Product Policy periodically to reflect changes in our products, production methods, business practices, or legal requirements.
The current version will be posted on our website with the updated revision date.
